Default Paragon and PvP

How are Paragons PvP wise? How about PvE? Is it worth to get the Nightfall campaign to be able to use this class? Also, is it worth putting 100k into it?

Thanks,

Paragons are an inbalanced class, despite all the nerfs.

They have:

80 armour for a ranged character.
Damage that is comparable to a Warrior - at range.
The most powerful IAS in the game.
Decent DPS with extreme support.
Unremovable buffs.
Shields, which add even more defense.
Leadership, broken, passive energy management.

Getting the Nightfall campaign is good for all classes, as it has so many powerful skills open anyway.

If they are good, why haven't I seen many in GW?

because the majority of people who play Guild Wars are bad at it and think Paragons suck.

Don't let the majority make your choice. The majority of this game's players are usually idiots who think they know everything with their Mending Warriors, tanking and other things even when those things have been proven wrong and surpassed in efficiency.

Not to mention that Paragons have access to the Imbagon, the most powerful defensive build in Guild Wars.

Paragons have some really nice looking spears, but the armor is terrible (at least for males). I went through about 4 elite armors in a week before I said screw it and bought FoW.
